Pastor Mel Gray is the Founder and Senior Pastor of LifePoint Church in St. Cloud. He serves faithfully alongside his devoted wife, First Lady Shavon, whose partnership has been vital to the church’s growth and impact. Together, they are the proud parents of three children: Jayla, Javin, and Kaylee.

Born and raised in Detroit, Pastor Gray was grounded in faith from an early age. After graduating from Wayne Memorial High School, he moved to Minnesota to pursue higher education and the call of God on his life. He was deeply influenced by two spiritual leaders, serving nearly nine years under the late Pastor Curtis Wheat in Waite Park and four years under Pastor David Kent in Minneapolis. During his time at Christian Life Center, he received clear confirmation of his pastoral calling.

In September 2006, Pastor Mel and First Lady Shavon launched a daughter work in their home in St. Joseph, Minnesota. What began as a small Bible study quickly grew as they faithfully preached Jesus Christ and the apostolic message. LifePoint Church was planted in St. Cloud and officially reached autonomy in 2010. Today, it stands as a thriving ministry where lives are transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Gray is licensed with the United Pentecostal Church International. He currently serves as BUILD Conference Director in St. Cloud and Central Regional Director for Building the Bridge Ministries, and has previously served as an Occupational Chaplain, Sectional Director for Minnesota North American Missions, and Minnesota Multicultural Ministries Director.

Known as a unifier and bridge-builder, Pastor Gray is committed to bringing people together across cultures and communities. His servant leadership and unwavering dedication to the Gospel continue to inspire and strengthen the body of Christ.
